Your first walkthrough
New to MyClosedBook? These three steps are all you need to begin. Take them in order, at your own pace — everything stays private until you decide otherwise.
Train your voice in the Voice Studio
Your voice is the one thing your loved ones will never want to lose. Here's how to preserve it — a few minutes at a time.
- 1Open Voice Training from the menu.
- 2Tap "Record a voice sample" and answer the prompt out loud — in your normal voice, just be yourself.
- 3Repeat this over a few days. The more short clips you add, the more your voice clone sounds like you.
- 4When you’re happy, tap "Use this as my memorial voice" to save it to your profile.
Record your daily wisdom
Each day, a new question invites you to share a piece of your life. Your answers train your voice and become wisdom your family can unlock later.
- 1On your Home page, find the Daily Wisdom Prompt card.
- 2Read today’s question, then tap "Record your answer."
- 3Speak for a minute or two — a memory, a lesson, a piece of advice. Don’t overthink it.
- 4It saves as a Wisdom entry and helps your voice clone learn. Come back tomorrow for the next one.
Store private messages for loved ones
Leave private messages for the people you love — locked away and delivered only to them, on the date you choose, even years from now.
- 1Open My Wisdom and tap "New wisdom" (or open My Folders first to make a folder for one person).
- 2Write or record your message — a letter, a confession, a blessing, a final word.
- 3Set it to Private and choose who it’s for.
- 4Pick a release date — a birthday, an anniversary, or a date years from now.
- 5Save it. It stays locked until the exact day you chose.
